POSITION SUMMARY
A Jewish Family Office based in NYC is seeking a motivated, trustworthy, diligent, highly organized, and detail-oriented Tax Manager. This person should have 10+ years of experience in tax preparation and strategy, across various areas of tax, with 5+ years doing tax work in public accounting. International taxes are not a requirement but will be a plus. The manager will report to the CEO/CFO and will have the opportunity to become part of the leadership team. The Tax Manager is expected to take on other managerial duties at the Family Office unrelated to taxes. This may include HR, IT, billing, budgeting and more.RESPONSIBILITIES
• Timely preparation of all US tax returns – corporate, partnership and individual.
• Responsibility over all other US tax compliance work, including extension, FBARs, and foreign ownership.
• Maintaining relationships with CPA firms.
• Responsibility over compliance requirements in international jurisdictions.
• Participate in tax planning and strategy.
• Must be proficient in Excel.
