Overview
A growing provider of IT solutions is seeking an experienced and highly skilled IT Support Technician (Level 1/2) to join their team.
The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of advanced IT support experience, be proficient in PowerShell/scripting, and possess advanced knowledge of server, firewall, networking, and cloud technologies. This role demands excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a team-oriented, process-driven mindset.
Responsibilities include:
- Troubleshoot complicated technical issues effectively and efficiently, and collaborate with other IT team members to ensure comprehensive support coverage.
- Research and explore new technologies to improve service offerings.
- Work well under stress and deadline pressure, and communicate effectively with individuals, departments, and external parties.
- Properly document service call notes, create and maintain checklists, and create diagrams.
Skills required:
- Must be an excellent communicator, able to convey technical information clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Highly organized and consistent, with a strong ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workloads, and maintain meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong team player, capable of working collaboratively with colleagues, providing support, and contributing to a positive team environment.
- Process-driven individual, dedicated to following established procedures and continuously seeking ways to improve workflows and efficiency.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of advanced IT support (MSP) experience.
- Proficient in PowerShell and scripting.
- Advanced knowledge of servers, firewalls, and networking.
- Advanced knowledge of cloud technologies including Office 365, Azure, Exchange, SharePoint, and Intune.
