Pay $80,000 – $100,000
Seeking a detail and highly organized Loan Processor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and processing loan applications efficiently and accurately. As a Loan Processor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth and timely loan processing, from application submission to loan approval.
Responsibilities:
- Review loan applications for completeness and accuracy.
- Verify applicant information, including income, employment history, and credit reports.
- Communicate with applicants to request additional documentation or information as needed.
- Prepare loan files and ensure all necessary documentation is included.
- Evaluate applicant eligibility based on company policies and loan requirements.
- Coordinate with loan officers, underwriters, and other team members to facilitate the loan approval process.
- Follow up with applicants and provide updates on the status of their loan applications.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies throughout the loan processing.
- Maintain accurate records of loan transactions and updates in the database.
- Assist in resolving any issues or discrepancies that may arise during the loan processing.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience as a loan processor.
- Knowledge of loan processing procedures, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in data entry and documentation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in using loan processing software and MS Office applications.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
