Overview
A non-profit OPWDD provider, is seeking a Controller to oversee and enhance their fiscal operations.
This role demands a strategic approach to financial management, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and leading in process improvements for greater efficiency and accuracy.
Responsibilities:
- Fiscal Program Compliance: Ensure all fiscal programs comply with OPWDD, OMIG, and non-profit financial regulations, staying informed of any regulatory changes.
- Fiscal Oversight: Supervise all fiscal operations, ensuring robust financial management and control.
- Billing Management: Oversee all billing processes, including Medicaid and private insurance, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Conduct budget preparation and financial forecasting, including variance analysis.
Skills needed:
- Strong leadership skills, with a focus on staff training and development.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team and across departments.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in financial management, preferably in a non-profit or healthcare setting.
- Experience with CFR preferred.
- Proficiency in Fund Ez preferred.
