Job Title: Entry/Mid Level IT Specialist

Job Type: Full-Time in Office (Monday-Friday, 9-5PM)

Job Description:

The IT Specialist is expected to perform day-to-day IT administration tasks to ensure the smooth-running of our local office. These tasks may include hardware or software setup, troubleshooting of ad hoc network or issues, troubleshooting VOIP phone systems, printers, and any other such technical issue requiring attention, as determined by your supervisor. IT Specialists are expected to be competent problem-solvers, initiative takers, express a ‘can-do’ attitude, and to display a drive to learn and continually improve, both themselves and our infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

Helpdesk Administrator: Working within a ticketing system, responding and resolving tickets in a timely manner.

Google Workspace Administration: Account creation, troubleshooting, email group, filters and users permissions.

VoIP Telephony: Implementing and supporting existing VoIP systems.

Hardware and Software Support: Provide technical support for hardware and software-related issues, troubleshoot problems, and offer timely solutions, including:

Windows 10/11 Systems
Commercial Printer Systems
Meeting Room Facilities
Unifi Network Infrastructure, routers and switches
Manage the IT Asset Registry: Identifying, sourcing and purchasing suitable IT equipment.

Onboarding and Offboarding: Own the entire IT component of the onboarding and offboarding processes (account setup/decommissioning, computer desk setup etc)

User Training: Conduct training sessions for staff members on IT-related tools and best practices to enhance their computer skills.

Collaboration: Work closely with teams to understand their IT needs and provide proactive solutions.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of IT-related activities, configurations, and updates.

Qualifications:

Proven experience (2+ years) in IT support and network administration in a corporate office environment.

Relevant IT Degrees or Certifications would be advantageous, but are not required.

Experience working within a ticketing system.

Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to address technical issues promptly.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Familiarity with healthcare industry IT requirements (HIPAA) is a plus.

Expected Salary: 65-75k, commensurate with skills and experience.
