Job Description:

We’re looking for a passionate candidate to own the day-to-day management of our marketing and vendor relations. This person will lead the charge on everything from engaging on social media to managing influencer collaborations to fostering relationships with our vendors. The Marketing and Vendor Relations Manager will be responsible for:

 

●        Helping to develop social media content plans and engagement strategies while working closely with our photographers and content producers

●        Managing brand collaborations (including but not limited to giveaways, box collaborations, recipe collaborations, etc.)

●        Engaging daily on social channels with customers, vendors, and influencers

●        Staying up-to-date on trending plant-based topics, gathering and organizing related data, and working with the content team to analyze, ideate, and capitalize on those trends

●        Helping to establish and scale a paid affiliate program to incentivize brand ambassadors

●        Assisting in the creation of short-term and long-term marketing plans and strategies and contributing creative solutions to support various marketing and vendor initiatives

●        Managing influencer and ambassador relationships

●        Researching, analyzing, and presenting data on trends in plant-based and sourcing new vendors that align with those trends

●        Managing brand applications, samples, and tasting schedule

●        Corresponding with current vendors and managing relationships

●        Fostering relationships with our vendors both old and new through prompt replies to their questions and feedback, outreach to them with exciting opportunities, and general responsiveness that makes clear how much we value them

 

Candidate Requirements:

●        A self-starter with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and an entrepreneurial spirit

●        Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

●        Working knowledge of marketing and business development and experience in social media management

●        An interest in working hand in hand with small-batch makers to bring their craft plant-based products to more people

●        A passion for plant-based foods and lifestyle

●        Experience in the food industry is a plus

●        Bachelor’s degree preferred

●        Proficiency with Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Google Slides is required

●        Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Software suite is preferred

 

Compensation:

Salary is highly competitive and will be based on experience.
