A Real Estate Company is seeking a Bookkeeper to join their growing team.

The ideal candidate will have real estate experience and will play a vital role in managing the financial records and transactions of the real estate operations.

Responsibilities include:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for multiple real estate properties, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
  • Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies or errors.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts for real estate properties, working closely with property managers and senior management.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for property owners, investors, and management, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Skills required:

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial recordkeeping and reconciliation.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with internal teams, property owners, and external stakeholders.
  • The ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
  • Organizational and time management skills.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles, with a focus on real estate accounting preferred.
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks.
