Position Summary:
The Bookkeeper/Operations Manager will handle essential bookkeeping tasks, oversee office operations, and support the team with administrative and HR functions. This role requires a multitasker who thrives in a small-business environment and enjoys wearing multiple hats. Key Responsibilities:
- Bookkeeping & Financial Management:
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and revenue tracking.
- Perform month-end close procedures and maintain accurate financial records.
- Update financial data entries, process invoices, and reconcile accounts.
- Enter and pay bills, follow up on accounts receivable, and monitor cash flow.
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with payroll regulations.
- Office Management:
- Oversee daily office operations to maintain an organized and efficient workspace.
- Coordinate with vendors and manage office supplies.
- Assist with basic HR tasks, such as onboarding and maintaining employee records.
- Administrative Support:
- Support management with ad hoc administrative tasks and special projects.
- Maintain clear communication with team members and vendors to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a related field.
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks Online) and strong Excel skills.
- Excellent multitasking and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Basic knowledge of HR practices is a plus.
- Comfortable working in a growing business environment.
