Summary of Position: Develop strategic revenue planning, budgeting and implementation for company portfolio properties.
Role and Responsibilities
Assist with the implementation and execution of hotel sales strategy, pricing recommendations and inventory management across all channels.
Manage and oversee revenue management analytic functions to produce reporting that support and evaluate business strategies
Provide guidance and support sales and marketing initiatives that are targeted to meet the needs of the property.
Conduct audits to guarantee sell strategy is set correctly on all channels as well as ensuring reservations coming from various channels are accurate.
Display leadership qualities that mentor, develop, and guide team members such as revenue analysts and managers.
Produce accurate revenue forecasts that help set goals and outgrow the competition
Analyze dynamics of the local market events providing feedback on the opportunities they create and updating revenue tools/systems as necessary.
Complete rate loading/mapping as necessary.
Monitor availability and ensure strategies are executed to maximize room type efficiency.
Ensure revenue is posted correctly and in line with company policy
Monitor and analyze the competition daily/weekly to identify selling strategies and market trends.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Minimum Bachelors Degree
2 years or more revenue management experience a must
Hospitality experience a plus
Proficient with MS Office Suite required Meticulous attention to detail and proofreading skills
