Job Posting Guidelines
Purpose
YidJob is dedicated to connecting employers and job seekers within the religious Jewish community. Our platform focuses on roles that support the operations, services, and professional needs of traditional religious Jewish institutions, businesses, and related office-based roles within the community.
Scope of Acceptable Job Postings
YidJob accepts job postings that meet the following criteria:
– Affiliation: Roles must be affiliated with the religious Jewish community, including:
– Traditional religious Jewish institutions (e.g., synagogues, yeshivas, mikvahs, community centers).
– Jewish businesses (e.g., kosher food industries, Judaica stores, religious publishing).
– Office-based roles (e.g., administrative, accounting, marketing, or clerical positions) within religious Jewish organizations, businesses, or community-affiliated firms.
– Job Types: Acceptable roles include, but are not limited to:
– Rabbinical and spiritual leadership (e.g., rabbis, cantors).
– Educational positions (e.g., teachers, principals in yeshivas or day schools).
– Administrative and operational roles (e.g., synagogue administrators, office managers).
– Professional office roles (e.g., accountants, HR staff, IT support, or marketing coordinators) within Jewish organizations or businesses.
– Kosher industry roles (e.g., mashgichim, food production staff).
– Religious service providers (e.g., mohels, scribes).
– Geographic Relevance: Jobs must be relevant to religious Jewish communities, with preference for roles in regions with significant Jewish populations.
– Compliance: Postings must comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws, including anti-discrimination regulations.
Excluded Job Postings
To maintain our platform’s focus, YidJob does not accept postings for:
– Roles primarily focused on advocacy, social programming, or community organizing, unless they are directly tied to the core operations of a traditional religious Jewish institution or business (e.g., synagogue event coordinator).
– Jobs unrelated to the religious Jewish community, its institutions, businesses, or affiliated office roles.
– Postings that are incomplete, outdated, or violate our formatting requirements.
– Content that violates applicable laws or promotes discrimination based on protected characteristics, including race, religion, ***, ***ual orientation, gender identity, or disability.
Posting Review and Removal
– All job postings are subject to review by the YidJob team to ensure alignment with these guidelines.
– YidJob reserves the right to remove any posting that does not meet our criteria or violates our policies, at our sole discretion.
– If a posting is removed, we will notify the poster with an explanation based on these guidelines.
Non-Discrimination in Job Postings
YidJob is committed to equal opportunity and complies with all applicable anti-discrimination laws. Decisions to accept or remove postings are based solely on the criteria outlined above and are not influenced by protected characteristics such as race, religion, ***, ***ual orientation, gender identity, or disability.
Changes to Terms of Use

Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms of use will be resolved by binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
User Responsibility for Private Information
Users should be careful with private information, such as their Social Security number, bank info, etc., and only share it with employers that they trust.
